Andy Frizzell’s Offa’s Dyke Challenge

//Andy Frizzell’s Offa’s Dyke Challenge

Andy Frizzell is currently undergoing a 13 day walk from  Hay On Wye to Kington to help raise funds for The Air Ambulance.

Andy says “All my B&B accommodation and baggage transfers (By Absolute Escapes) are paid for and I now have full insurance cover  should anything untoward happen.”

So, everything is set for an epic 13 days along Offa’s Dyke Path following the ancient boundary built by Offa, King of Mercia to keep the Welsh out of England. Andy continues “I will be doing the first mile or so on the day I arrive in Chepstow so that I can continue in a Northerly direction straight from my hotel the next day rather than go east to come back past the hotel again but that’s where the easy bit ends. By the time I’ve walked from Sedbury Cliffs overlooking the River Severn back to the hotel I will have an early dinner then turn in for the night ahead of the biggest thing I’ll have ever done in my life.”

Keep coming back to this site and check out the blog page during the hike. You can also follow Andy on Twitter and Facebook by going to his website at http://offasdykechallenge.com/  You can sponsor Andy on his site through ‘Just giving’.
